Netflix proved ‘Love is Blind’ with two seasons of their reality show, which saw couples from both seasons – Amber Pike and Matt Barnett, Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton, Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson, and Jarette Jones and Iyanna McNeely tie the knot.
Season 2 couple Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones are going separate ways. The two broke the news that they are divorcing in a joint statement they shared on Instagram on Aug 17th.
After much thought, we’re saddened to share that we have separated and will begin the process of divorcing. While we have love for each other, our lives are going in different directions, and that’s okay,” they wrote. “Coming to this decision was far from easy and we will always wish each other the absolute best.”
They thanked their loved ones for their support and asked for some privacy as they move forward and go on their individual paths. They also expressed their gratitude to Netflix and Love is Blind for what they deemed an “unforgettable” opportunity.
Each of you have brought overwhelming love and joy into our lives. This experience has taught us so much about ourselves, vulnerability, and love. We don’t regret a single thing.”
