Following a week suspension of Pornhub on Instagram, the META owned company has decided to remove Pornhub’s account on the platform permanently, citing “repeated violation of community guidelines”.
In an open letter, Pornhub has termed the removal as
discriminatory and hypocritical “.
The letter was addressed to four Meta executives, including CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Instagram head Adam Mosseri, the letter was endorsed by 60 signatories from the adult entertainment industry.
The Open Letter, pointed out bias, giving an example of Kim Kardashian who constantly posts “her fully exposed ass” – “but question is, why are we denied the same treatment,”… the letter says in part.
We demand that Instagram immediately end all discrimination toward those involved in the Adult industry

Instagram’s content guidelines prohibit nudity and sexual content, but Pornhub claims its account was “PG.” Before the sex site’s account was removed from Instagram, Pornhub had 13.1 million followers and more than 6,200 posts.
