Rihanna is making a musical comeback since her last album came out almost six years ago. She is making her long-awaited return to music with “Lift Me Up,” the lead single on Marvel’s blockbuster sequel “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
She shared a snippet of the single on Twitter, which will be released tomorrow, 28th, Oct.
The song, a tribute to the life and legacy of Chadwick Boseman, was written by Tems, Ludwig Göransson, Rihanna and director Ryan Coogler. Boseman, who played King T’Challa in the original “Black Panther,” died of colon cancer in 2020 at the age of 43.
The sequel which is set to launch in theaters worldwide on Nov 11th.
