Spurs had a night to forget as they lost 2-0 while away to Nottingham Forest in a match where they were expected to win. Harry Kane, who has started all 21 of Tottenham’s matches this season, had to be substituted after about an hour due to fatigue.
There were plenty of penalties as Liverpool, Blackburn who knocked out West Ham and Newcastle all progressed on penalties.
Manchester United will be looking to get the better of Aston Villa who thrashed them 3-1 last weekend when they meet tonight at Old Trafford.
The draw for the next round will take place today night.
