Halle Berry has exited the upcoming Hulu legal drama series “All’s Fair,” created by Ryan Murphy, due to
a scheduling conflict”.
Initially set to star alongside Glenn Close and Kim Kardashian, Berry’s departure comes shortly after joining the project.
“All’s Fair” focuses on an all-female law firm in Los Angeles; the plot is still under wraps.
Berry’s representatives and those from Hulu and 20th Television declined to comment, Variety Reports.
Berry’s upcoming projects include the Netflix film “The Union” and the Lionsgate horror film “Never Let Go.”
“All’s Fair” will be Murphy’s first series under his new deal with Disney, with several notable writers and producers attached.
The series is set to receive a portion of $58 million in tax credits from the California Film Commission and will film for 97 days in California.
Halle Berry has also stepped down from her role as executive producer and will no longer be involved with the show.
Details about Berry’s character were not yet disclosed.
This project marks Murphy’s first series under his new deal with Disney following the end of his Netflix contract, with Murphy serving as writer, director, and executive producer.
