It’s been a tough week for some Kenyan artists. Their music videos have been removed from YouTube. Being that some of this videos are the most popular and viewed, artists like Otile Brown, Nadia Mukami and others remain poignant.
Otile Brown addressed the issue in a live video last night. He also quoted in an Instagram Post,

The “Aiyana” hit maker has lost over 190 Million Total YouTube Views after his top songs were deleted from YouTube. Chaguo la moyo, Dusuma, Aiyana, HI, Such Kinda love have all been removed.
Nadia Mukami’s Maombi, Radio love, Kolo and Wangu have also been removed.
Nviiri’s Pombe sigara and Niko sawa have also been removed. Bensoul and Wilis Raburu have also been affected after Kalale and Nairobi are no longer available.
