Tesla’s (FSD) Beta feature was pulled out in October 2021 after two days due to an issue with left turns at traffic lights.
One day Later Tesla issued another version which included FSD profiles.
Tesla’s (FSD) Beta allows you to choose from three driving “profiles” that dictate how the car will react to certain situations on the road, with each mode, “Chill,” “Average,” and “Assertive,” varying in terms of aggressiveness and safety.
While there is an available video showing all the three modes in action, this specific video doesn’t test out the vehicle’s behavior in heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.
It is not easy to tell how the profiles change the way the vehicle drives, especially if they are pushing safety limits. A Tesla in ‘Assertive’ mode might be dangerous if following other cars too closely or changing lanes.
