Chris Rock has declined to file a police report against Will Smith. Will Smith smacked Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars, for a joke he made about his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith’s shaved haircut, which is due to her battle with alopecia.
Chris Rock made a joke about Jada’s cut and said he couldn’t wait to see her in G.I. Jane Part 2, in reference to the 1997 film. The joke didn’t go well with the crowd, especially Will & Jada. Suddenly, Will walked up on stage and smacked Chris Rock.
As Will returned to his seat, Rock quickly said, “Will Smith just smacked the s**t out of me.” The crowd went silent in disbelief. Will then yells out, “Keep my wife’s name out your f****n mouth,” and repeats himself, to which Rock responds, “I’m going to…that was the greatest night in the history of television.”
