Bad Boys 4 is officially in pre-production.
Franchise main stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will be reprising their roles as narcotics detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.
The actors confirmed the news on Instagram, Will Smith uploaded a video of him driving to Lawrence’s home’s while listening to Nelly, P. Diddy and Murphy Lee’s Bad Boys II soundtrack cut “Shake Ya Tailfeather.”
The comedic visual sees the pair reunite once more and even joke about how they should have used their slogan, “Bad boys for life,” for the upcoming movie rather than its 2020 predecessor.
The original Bad Boys film earned $141m (£114m) worldwide in 1995, while the 2003 sequel Bad Boys II took $273m (£222m). The third film, Bad Boys For Life, outperformed the previous two entries combined at the box office.
