The second season of The Real Housewives of Lagos is set to premiere on Showmax on September 29, 2023, introducing two new housewives.
The reality TV series has garnered immense popularity, with its first season breaking streaming records on Showmax Nigeria.

In the upcoming season, fashion entrepreneur Tania Omotayo and former model and socialite Faith Morey will join the original cast, including renowned figures like Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, celebrity designer Toyin Lawani Adebayo, and businesswomen Chioma Ikokwu, Laura Ikeji-Kanu, and Mariam Timmer.
Tania, a well-known figure in the fashion industry, expressed her excitement about the reality TV debut, viewing it as an opportunity to share a genuine glimpse into her public life and embrace new challenges. Speaking on her reality TV debut, the 32-year-old wife and mother of one said:
I joined The Real Housewives of Lagos because my life is so public but not because I shared anything, simply based on assumptions.
This was an opportunity for me to step out of my comfort zone to actually share a bit of my life and challenge myself with something new”.
Faith Morey, a multi-talented personality with a background in basketball, modeling, design, and acting, explained her decision to join the show as a desire to experience reality TV and connect with fellow accomplished women.
I have always loved reality TV.
I am a private person but for some reason, I wanted to experience it. I also wanted to meet fellow hardworking ladies. And of course, the franchise needed a touch of Faith Morey. I was the missing puzzle from the show!”.
The Real Housewives of Lagos offers an exclusive look into the lives of some of Lagos’ most affluent and influential women.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of Lagos, the show promises a whirlwind of emotions, friendships, celebrations, and of course, rivalries among the cast.
This season will also delve deeper into the ambitions and personal triumphs of the Housewives.
