Showmax‘ Second Family returned for Season 2 on September 14th.
In the inaugural season, viewers were introduced to the Gatehi-Lang’at family, who were hit by a web of secrets after the sudden demise of their patriarch.
This revelation included the existence of a second family and an unexpected heir.

Tehi is getting more screen time this season. And forget about the drinking and womanizing rich kid from Season 1, he has morphed into a character I also didn’t see coming, I love that my character undergoes such a radical transformation from being this cliché spoiled brat into a crafty, cunning character.

Katherine (Mumbi Maina):
Mumbi Maina, who portrays Katherine, is eager to unveil a new facet of her character this Season. Katherine, often underestimated, proves to be a formidable force when pushed to her limits.
Katherine has often been underestimated but when pushed into a corner, she will make moves that no one sees coming.
You’ll get a deeper look into just how far she’s willing to go to get what she wants. But also, you’ll see a little bit more of her emotional side.
