Fans of “Stranger Things” eagerly anticipating the premiere of the popular Netflix show’s fifth and final season were treated to a teaser this week.
On November 6, which Netflix designated as “Stranger Things Day” in reference to the fictional date of Will Byers’ disappearance in 1983, the show’s official account on X (formerly Twitter) unveiled the opening excerpt of the script for episode 1.
Last year on Stranger Things Day, we learned the Season 5 premiere episode title: “The Crawl.”
And we hope you’ve been theorizing along with us about what it could mean: What is the Crawl? Who is crawling? Why are they crawling? Where are they crawling to?

but with the start of production being delayed because of the Actors and Writers Strike, that date could likely get pushed back even further.
