Hathaway’s career reached new heights with her Academy Award-winning role in “Les Misérables” (2012) as Fantine.
Transitioning effortlessly between genres, she embraced the superhero realm in “The Dark Knight Rises” (2012) and ventured into science fiction with Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar” (2014).
There’s “Ocean’s 8” (2018) and comedic roles in “The Hustle” (2019) , “The Witches” (2020) and the pandemic-inspired romantic comedy heist film “Locked Down” (2021).
It has not been such a smooth sailing for the 41 year old Hollywood actress.
In a recent interview with Net-A-Reporter, Anne Hathaway, who began her career as a child star, disclosed a warning she received in her early years predicting a career decline at 35.
Contrary to the prediction, Hathaway defied expectations, ensuring her career continued to thrive well beyond the mentioned age. She said that despite this warning, her career continued to soar.
The thing that has evolved during [that time] is that more women are having careers deeper into their lives, which I think is fantastic
There’s still a lot to fix
I am an ambitious person who has dreams and goals,
Anne
