Euphoria actor Javon Walton recently shared his thoughts on the HBO show’s upcoming third season.
In an interview with Daily Mail, the 17-year-old, known for his role as Ashtray in the teen drama alongside Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, and Sydney Sweeney, expressed uncertainty about the possibility of another season for Euphoria.
Despite HBO confirming the show’s return for a third and final season in 2025, following production delays due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike, Javon indicated hesitance regarding the current status of filming progress.
He mentioned,
I think that they might…. I’m not super positive about that.”
Reflecting on the show’s success with its previous seasons, Javon acknowledged the potential for another season but remained cautious about its likelihood.
When questioned about the possibility of reprising his role as Ashtray, potentially in a flashback scene considering his character’s fate in the latest season, Javon expressed doubt, stating, “I don’t think so.”
Fans of the series will recall that he was killed in a shoot out at the end of the season.
