Netflix’s beloved fantasy series “Sweet Tooth” has officially announced the release date for its third and final season, accompanied by a teaser trailer.
The series returns on June 6; with 8 episodes.
In the teaser trailer, viewers catch a glimpse of protagonist Gus, portrayed by Christian Convery, on a journey to Alaska alongside Jepperd, Becky, Wendy, and Dr. Singh. Their mission? To reunite with Gus’s mother, Birdie, who is determined to solve the mystery of the deadly Sick. However, their quest is fraught with peril as they encounter new threats along the way.
One such adversary is Helen Zhang, who views Gus as a key component in her plan to restart human birth.
As the group traverses through unknown territories, they encounter new allies, including Siana and her hybrid daughter Nuka, portrayed by Cara Gee and Ayazhan Dalabayeva, respectively.
Showrunner Jim Mickle reassured fans last year that “Sweet Tooth” had not been cancelled, and the decision to end the series after three seasons was part of his original plan.
