The latest addition to the John Wick franchise, ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’, has broken records by grossing a whopping $137.5 million USD during its global box office opening weekend.
This marks a new high for the franchise, surpassing the earnings of its previous installments.
With its worldwide popularity, John Wick: Chapter 4 is emerging as a major blockbuster at the box office.
The Lionsgate-produced film, featuring Keanu Reeves in the lead, has dominated DC’s Shazam 2 by grossing a domestic box office collection of $73.5 million USD in its opening weekend.
Not only that, the fourth installment of the franchise has also set a new record for the series, raking in over $137.5 million USD in its global debut, surpassing the third installment, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’s in 2019.
Keanu Reeves has reprised his role as the renowned hitman, also known as Baba Yaga, while Chad Stahelski directed the film.
