Showmax has announced the upcoming premiere of Kyallo Kulture’s second season, which is set to be released on the platform as a Showmax Original title on May 23, 2023.

The reality series focuses on the personal lives of Betty Kyallo and her sisters, Mercy and Gloria Kyallo, showcasing the ups and downs of sisterhood and the importance of family, even in the most challenging of circumstances.

The first season of the show was a huge success among Kenyan viewers, ranking among the top 10 most-watched shows on Showmax in Kenya in 2022 and being nominated for Best TV Show at the 2022 Kalasha Awards.

As a Showmax Original, the second season of Kyallo Kulture will continue to follow the sisters on their individual journeys, as well as their collective efforts to reconnect and discover their next steps in life.

According to Betty, viewers can expect an even better second season of Kyallo Kulture due to the personal growth that she and her sisters have undergone. Betty believes that she has evolved significantly since the first season and promises that viewers will see a different side of the Kyallo sisters, with more fun and energy in the upcoming season.

D&R Studios, owned by Eugene Mbugua, is the production company behind Kyallo Kulture. The studio is also responsible for producing The Real Housewives of Nairobi, a show that made history as the most-watched title on its premiere day on Showmax in Kenya, and has continued to dominate both Showmax charts and Twitter trends with every new episode released weekly.
