Kenyan boyband, Sauti Sol, has recently declared their intention to embark on an indefinite hiatus, with each member venturing into personal projects.
While this pause signifies the end of a specific chapter, it also symbolizes a fresh start for Sauti Sol, as stated by the group members themselves.

The band, composed of Bien Aime Baraza, Savara Mudigi, Willis Chimano, and Polycarp Otieno, emphasized that their enduring friendship and shared vision, spanning over two decades, will remain the driving force behind their future endeavors.
Following their scheduled world tour encompassing multiple European and American countries, the hiatus will commence, according to the band’s statement released on Saturday.

This announcement precedes their upcoming performance at the Stanbic Yetu Festival in Nairobi on June 10, which will be the second-to-last show they perform together in Kenya.
The grand finale in their home country will take place at the third annual Sol festival on December 16, 2023.
