Netflix has confirmed the upcoming arrival of “Squid Game: The Challenge” series this November, following the concept of the original show but without the life-or-death stakes.
In this adaptation, 456 players will compete in a series of games for a chance to win a whopping $4.56 million USD, making it the largest cash prize in reality TV history.
According to Netflix, the show will push each player to their limits, forcing them to question how far they are willing to go to secure victory.
With opportunistic alliances, cutthroat strategies, and timely betrayals expected, the mood of the series is set to be significantly intense.
Earlier this year, during filming in the United Kingdom, several contestants required medical attention. Following the first round of the game, aptly named “Red Light, Green Light,” individuals were seen being stretchered off the premises.
Stay tuned for further updates as more details emerge in the coming weeks.
