Iconic actor Jamie Foxx is set to take on a divine role in the upcoming comedy “Not Another Church Movie”
The Oscar-winning star will embody the character of God, as reported by Deadline.
Written and directed by Johnny Mack, “Not Another Church Movie” promises to be a side-splitting cinematic experience.
Sharing the spotlight with Foxx is fellow acclaimed actor Mickey Rourke, renowned for his nomination-worthy performance in “The Wrestler.”
Rourke’s contribution to the movie is equally intriguing, as he takes on the role of the Devil – a casting decision previously disclosed.
The filming of the movie was completed prior to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, setting the stage for a planned theatrical release later this year.
