Hulu has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming adaptation of Charmaine Wilkerson’s novel “Black Cake.”
This multi-generational saga, led by showrunner and executive producer Marissa Jo Cerar, weaves together elements of murder mystery and family drama.
The initial three episodes of “Black Cake” are set to premiere on November 1st, exclusively on Hulu.
Following the debut, subsequent episodes will be released every Wednesday until December 6th.
Adapted from the bestselling book featured in The New York Times, “Black Cake” unfolds across various global settings, including Jamaica, Rome, Scotland, England, and Southern California.
The series boasts an impressive lineup of executive producers, including Oprah Winfrey, Aaron Kaplan, Carla Gardini, Brian Morewitz, Charmaine Wilkerson, and Michael Lohmann.
“Black Cake” is a collaborative production involving Two Drifters, ABC Signature, Harpo Films, and Kapital Entertainment.
