Lupita Nyong’o has been touring across Paris, Germany, and other locations as she promotes her latest film, “A Quiet Place: Day One.”
Currently in Europe, she is actively engaging in promotional activities for the upcoming release.
In the trailer for “A Quiet Place: Day One,” Nyong’o makes her appearance following the text “Day One,” where she is Portrayed moving through a bustling street while carrying a cat, just before beams of light illuminate the sky.
The first two installments of the “A Quiet Place” series followed the Abbott family’s struggle for survival in a post-apocalyptic world dominated by blind monsters with heightened hearing abilities.
In “A Quiet Place: Day One,” a new set of characters is introduced, offering insight into the initial moments of the alien invasion.
The teaser provides glimpses of the preceding films before plunging the audience back into the chaos of the invasion’s onset, particularly focusing on the events unfolding in New York City, a hundred days after the initial attack.
Lupita Nyong’o stars as a woman engulfed in the terrible craziness of the invasion who is trying to flee for her life from both terrified people trying to live at all costs and ferocious monsters that hunt and track prey based only on sound.
The film also stars Stranger Things’ Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff and Djimon Hounsou.
It also features a family, portrayed by John Krasinski and his off-screen spouse Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds, who are trying to survive in the post-apocalyptic area where the aliens are blind and use their enhanced sense of hearing.
