Barry Keoghan has been confirmed to join the cast of the upcoming Peaky Blinders movie, Deadline reports.
The film is a continuation of the popular British series that aired on Netflix from 2013 to 2022.
The show, spanned six seasons and 36 episodes.
It’s cast included Cillian Murphy, Paul Anderson, Sophie Rundle, Helen McCrory, Ned Dennehy, Finn Cole, and Natasha O’Keeffe.
Keoghan’s involvement in the film has been announced, but details about his character remain undisclosed.
The announcement also did not provide additional information regarding the plot or the filming schedule of the movie.
Reports indicate that production might commence later this year.
The film will see Cillian Murphy reprising his role and will also feature Rebecca Ferguson in a leading role.
Tom Harper; known for his work in the Peaky Blinders series will direct the movie.
The screenplay will be penned by Steven Knight, the original creator of the series.
